Saturday Horsin’ Around Playdays! Switch Willo
will start offering Saturday playdays for children ages 5 and up starting
June 6. This will include pony rides,
swimming and games from 10am to 4pm.
The cost will be $50.
Reservations and payment need to be made 2 days in advance. Children should bring swimgear,
sunscreen, paddock boots, jeans, water bottle and a sack lunch. Call Colleen at 997-7779 to sign up!

is open at Switch Willo! Tues, Wed, Thurs 4:30 – 7:30
 Started in 1963
as a family operation for Phoebe and Lucy Craig, Switch Willo Stables
has grown throughout the years into Austin’s
premiere full-service equestrian facility. Switch Willo Stables has a full
range of services including an English horseback riding lesson program, a
horse boarding program geared to training hunters and jumpers, and an
extensive summer riding camp.
Horseback riding camps are also scheduled during spring break and
winter break. Switch Willo offers
horseback riding birthday parties to young equestrians!
Located
on 23 heavily wooded, beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of
northwest Austin,
the stable features 3 outdoor arenas, two lighted, plus the fun of a 5 acre
hunt course. Easily accessible from MoPac, 183, 360, and IH 35, the driving
time from downtown Austin
is only about 10 minutes. While Switch Willo has expanded over time, it is
still very much a family business. In fact, all the owners still live on
the property, providing 24 hour supervision of the horses.
Glenn
Johnson
and Phoebe Craig Johnson are the resident experts, responsible for
turning out consistently well prepared and successful riders.  Switch Willo is proud to be the home of
numerous year end award winners at the local, state, and national level
annually. Kirk Berlin,
Rachel Lindsey, and Senja Stevig are
full time trainers who teach private and group lessons, train horses and accompany our riders to
the many shows. There are also several nice hunter and jumper ponies for
sale.
Switch
Willo participates in all Texas Hunter and Jumper Association shows, all
local Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Association shows, in addition to
numerous nationally ranked “AA” circuit shows.
