Switch Willo Stables was chosen as a 2010 Austin Family Magazine Reader's Poll Favorite in the category of "Place to Learn - Equestrian Camp".

Offered during the entire summer, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, your child will have a wonderful experience at Switch Willo Stables summer camp. Designed specifically for children ages 6 to 14, beginner to advanced students learn all the points of horsemanship, grooming, and horse care with hands-on experience in a safe & fun environment.

Camp Activities

Campers receive daily riding instruction on horseback taught by accomplished adults in a tree shaded ring. Integral parts of the processs are the grooming, tacking up, and bathing of the horse or pony that your child uses. The tack-up area and all riding areas are shaded. The camp house is air conditioned.

Each week of camp ends with a special horse show for the parents and awards for the campers. Every child receives a ribbon for their hard work during the week. Parents are given advance notice of when their child will be showing so as not to miss this important event.
